Understanding Human-Building-Emergency Interaction
Runhe Zhu is an assistant professor in the Moss School of Construction, Infrastructure, and Sustainability at Florida International University (FIU). He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC). He also obtained his MS degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from USC. Prior to that, he received his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Tianjin University. His research focuses on human-building interactions, occupant safety, sustainable and resilient built environment, and smart and connected communities.
