Abstract: In this talk, we will introduce several types concerning Banach spaces, such as Rademacher type, Fourier type and Enflo type. We will give a characterization of Banach spaces with non trivial Fourier type with Fourier coefficients of Holder continuous functions defined on the torus with values in the underlying Banach space.

主讲人介绍

步尚全，清华大学教授、博士生导师。曾任国家自然科学基金评议组成员，现为《数学学报》编委、《中国科学，数学》中英文版、《数学进展》编委。1990年在巴黎第七大学获理学博士学位，1994年在清华大学破格晋升为教授。主要从事泛函分析中的Banach空间几何学和向量值调和分析研究，在国际高水平学术期刊Trans. AMS., Math. Ann.，Math. Z.等刊物上发表学术论文100余篇。荣获教育部优秀青年教师、教育部新世纪优秀人才称号，曾获第五届中国青年科技奖、清华大学首届学术新人奖、国家教委科技进步三等奖。自1991年至今持续得到国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目与重点项目的资助，还得到过教育部霍英东青年教师基金的资助。
